It is a surprise and a delight when the subject you were called on to provide help with becomes your pupil’s passion.
This is what has happened with one of my most accomplished students, Oliver.
A couple of years ago I was asked to tutor Oliver in French in preparation for his entrance examination to Wellington College.
Now I discover he has not only flourished in French, he has discovered a passion for all things language – not only French, but also Spanish, German and Latin!
